Local Government Excellence in Road Safety Awards Scheme

The Local Government Excellence in Road Safety Awards Scheme was established in late 1995.The Awards, sponsored by the Motor Accidents Authority, are presented to councils to publicly recognise the outstanding achievements of councils in the area of behavioural/educative aspects of road safety.

Booklets outlining the Award nominations and the projects receiving Awards are sent to all NSW councils and other interested stakeholders. For further copies phone the Institute on (02) 8267 3012.
